Ayaz Virji, MD

Dr. Virji received his MD from Georgetown University Medical School and completed his

medical residency at Duke University Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Bariatric (obesity) Medicine, the American Board of Family Medicine, and the American Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists. He is a registered provider with the American Obesity Association and The American Society of Bariatric Physicians.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, The American Academy of Family Physicians, and The North American Association for the Study of Obesity. He was also the youngest director of their weight loss program in the history of the facility.
